Mega Man 11 sells 870k so far, Mega Man X Legacy Collection hits 920k

Earlier today, Capcom said in their financial release that Mega Man 11 had 'strong sales,' but didn't share an actual figure. They also said Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1+2 was selling well, but once again, didn't share a figure. Now we have actual sales data on those games.

In some excellent news, Mega Man 11 has already moved 870k units worldwide. That's honestly much, much better than I figured the game would do. It seems most people took the digital route, which is why it was so hard to track sales.

As for Mega Man X Legacy Collection, that is currently sitting at 920k units sold. Capcom didn't specific if this figure was for Collection 1 or 2, but it's likely both combined.

The way things are going, both of these games should hit the 1 million mark sometime within the current year. With a few more promotions and special sales, we should see both games easily surpass that mark.

I wish they had put more effort into the quality of the SNES games on the X Collection. Basically unplayable for me due to the insane input lag.

Weird. I played through all of them, 2 and 3 for the very first time even, and had no such problems. I even got every single Hunter Medal, so that's how much I enjoyed the whole package.

Considering they added the double boss rush mode. I do wonder if input lag is hard to do or if it's just an issue for a small part of the sales (low priority).

That's not for X1-X3, though. It's a separate mode, and uses X4/6 mechanics. Input lag is a very big deal. The SNES Classic version of X1, for example, has HALF of the input lag the X Collection version does.

The PS2 colllection also has more than SNES classic. So maybe it's a more complicated issue, since it appears it is never the same input lag. From what I'm seeing Switch has less than the PS4 and XBOX, and a bit the same on portable mode. Might be an architecture issue, considering it's new hardware.

No, it's pretty simple. Capcom did a poor job.

It Didn't even come out physically in europe so yeah, of course a lot of people would go digital. Had to import my copy from Japan.

So does this mean we can get legends legacy collection?
