Nintendo fans weren't all that familiar with the Atelier series...until the Switch came along. The Switch has been home to numerous Atelier games, and it seems the move over to Nintendo's side of things has helped to bring in some new fans.

At Dengeki Game Fes 2019, the producer of Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland shared some kind words with Nintendo fans on their support of the franchise. The producer said many newcomers to the Atelier series purchased their first Atelier game via Switch, and that crowd included a lot of women. This info was gleaned from a survey that Koei Tecmo conducted.

The producer wrapped things up by saying that he hopes more gamers will give the Atelier series a chance. Of course, he also said that he hopes fans look forward to future Atelier titles.
