GN Version 5.0

Those playing StarTropics for the first time via the Switch Online NES Collection might be dealing with a pretty troublesome puzzle. At some point you'll need a code to progress in the game, but that code can't be found anywhere in the game itself.

Back when StarTropics release on the NES, the box included a special note that had a code on it. That note had to be dipped in water to reveal the code. When StarTropics was released through the Virtual Console, Nintendo provided a digital version of the note with the code revealed. Here on the Switch Online NES Collection, no such digital note was included.

For those wondering, the code you need to continue in the game is 747. If you've been wandering around the game looking for the solution this issue, hopefully you can get back on track now!
