UPDATE - It appears there might be some confusion with Disney+ on Switch. The above image comes straight from Disney, so they clearly have intentions of the service hitting Switch. With that said, it seems the only 100% confirmed deal right now is with Sony and the PS4. Details aren't clear, but apparently Disney is in active negotiations right now to get the app on Switch. You can find the full statement from Disney on the matter, as well as our original post below..

“Right now, we are securing distribution for Disney+ across mobile devices and connected TV devices, including game consoles, streaming media players, and smart TVs.

“With these device partnerships, not only do we optimize our product for consumer experience, we ensure that our service will be prominently featured and merchandised on our partner platforms. We have already secured such deals with Roku TV and PlayStation 4, and we are confident that by the time that we launch we will have a full array of device platform partnerships in place.”

Disney is working on Disney+, a streaming service akin to Netflix or Hulu, but jam-packed with their own content. Disney+ will include a back catalog of Disney works, as well as brand-new content created just for the service.

During an investor briefing, Disney revealed various platforms Disney+ will be available on, and Switch is confirmed! That's some pretty fantastic news, as Disney+ is going to have an absoluetly massive amount of content to stream.

Thanks to PixelBuster and WolfStarSonic for the heads up!
