Chinese distributor sees their entire stock of Octopath Traveler purchased following Chinese language support reveal
Word travels fast!
Earlier today, Square-Enix announced that Octopath Traveler is going to get an update to add in Chinese language support come June 7th, 2019. It appears this news has strike quite a cord in China, as one Chinese distributor has seen their entire stock of the game snatched up in roughly 8 hours.
The distributor had 31,906 copies of Octopath Traveler on-hand, and now they're completely sold out. One retailer purchased 2,640 copies of the game alone!
