Damn it, no folders still, but they finally included SOME sorting and QOL features... two years after launch. This should have all been day one stuff (Save for the VR stuff)

Priorities, just like adding Retro games it seems is something that is done eventually rather than something aiming to an specific deadline.

STILL no Smash Bros icons? I'm at such a loss here.

That and Xenoblade 2 are second party so it's super unlikely those will ever happen.

They are both owned by Nintendo, so should be no problem at all.

Smash Bros a second party? Surely you jest.

Sora is basically work for hire and they aren't something they can pull out of a hat for approval like Mario or Link. I'm surprised we even got Kirby avatars tbh, since they're the only exceptions thus far. It's kinda like how Game Freak were stupidly stingy with Pokemon in amiibo compatible games for so long

It's still intendo's property so I just don't see why it should be an issue. And Nintedo owns like 33-ish % of Pokemon, but Xenoblade and Smash are theirs...

Oh well. I would like for the update to let me have BG pictures I took from games.

I'm surprised we even got Kirby avatars tbh

I'd think the same if it weren't for NES Remix 2 and the mostly major compatibility the Kirby amiibo has in amiibo-compatible games.

Pokémon, on the other hand...

You were able to get 3rd Party themes on the 3DS. I doubt getting icons would be a problem if you could download them from the eShop.

Yeah I know! Wheres my K.Rool avatar icon Nintendo!?

what is the zoom thing?

It zooms in on your current screen by double-tapping the home button on your Switch/controller of choice for the Switch. Please note that some games/apps might not allow you to do this, but this can be handy like if you wanted a closer look at your saved screenshots/vids in your Switch album for example.

GIVE ME A RIDLEY ICON OR GIVE ME DEATH

Well not really, but I would like a Ridley icon without having to wait 15 years for Prime 4 to maybe get one, if he's even in it. That or a Samus that isn't the horrid Other M design. At least we have the Prime logo as an icon.

Nintendo should just drop a huge amount of icons of sprites from their games of the NES and SNES era.

Preempting a system upgrade, methinks...

Well, from the rumours the Switch Pro and Not-so-pro could be a thing. Now that Sony has said a bit about the PS5 and soon MS will show of the Next Box I am curious to see how Ninty will try to keep 3rd party support.

Fun times are coming this year =)

I wonder can you transfer a save from one system to another, then download the save again from the cloud backup on the original system?

Side note: I wish you could have multiple saves for a game. Like BOTW. I want to have multiple saves but have the playtime for the game totalled under one account.

I just started a new play through but to preserve my previous save I backed it up to the cloud then disabled automatic backups so my Switch has my new game but the cloud has my old save.
