Dragon Marked for Death - Version 2.1.0 patch notes

We posted about the Dragon Marked for Death Version 2.1.0 update the other day, but we only had a small smattering of details on what the patch did. Now we have the full patch notes, which you can check out below.

【System Changes】

Enemies now drop currency from the former Magic Kingdom of Litus (Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze pieces).
New items have been added to the black market.
Requirements to trade for the following items on the black market have been changed: Potion, Potion +1, Potion +2, Elixir, Elixir +1, Elixir +2
Shortcut commands have been added to chat settings.
Quick commands for changing equipment and using items have been added.
→ Settings can be changed at the inn.
ZL can be assigned to access quick commands.
→ With this control scheme, ZR will move pages forward and ZL will move backward.
Quick commands can be set to activate with the right stick or directional buttons.
→ This setting can be changed in the options menu.
The log now displays when elemental attacks are resisted or blocked.
The time before an enemy's elemental resistance is reset after receiving elemental attacks has been reduced.
Damage numbers when attacking an enemy with elemental attacks will now display yellow when an enemy is weak and blue when resisted.
Base aggro generated by attacks and healing has been decreased, and the rate at which aggro decays has been increased.
The following actions now generate more aggro:
→ continual Dragon Cannon, continual Berserk, continual Dragon Guard, Shinobi's lock-on combo finisher, homing shuriken, Shine magic, Dragon Surge
The following actions now generate less aggro:
→ Empress's combo's 3rd attack, Dragon Sword, Dragon Cannon activation, Warrior's charge attack, Dragon Dash, Dragon Kick
The amount of AGI reduction an enemy under the status effect "Frostbite" receives has been increased.
The spawn location of Dragon Sphere has been changed.
The commands to change pages on the status screen and log screen have been changed from L/R to ZL/ZR.
For cut-scenes and dialog that cannot be skipped with the + button, pressing + will now skip through text.
When skipping the ending cut-scene, the epilogue and credits will now also be skipped.

【Character Changes】

The level cap has been increased to 70.
To accomodate the new level cap, the cap on player attributes has been raised to 200.
The Empress can now enter an Ice contract with the following effects:
→ Dragon skills will have the Ice attribute
→ Dragon Cannon will consume more DP
→ Dragon Shot will fire with a different trajectory and more projectiles with less individual power.
→ Dragon Cannon will have a shorter range and more power.
→ Dragon Shot and Dragon Cannon can now fire upward by pressing up when firing.
※Properties displayed compared to the default Fire contract.
Fire Empress's Dragon Cannon damage and DP consumption have been increased.
The Warrior can now enter a Fire contract with the following effects:
→ Dragon Tackle and Dragon Smash will have the Fire attribute → Dragon Tackle and Dragon Smash will start up faster.
→ Dragon Tackle and Dragon Smash will do less damage.
→ Dragon Smash will generate more shockwaves that hit fewer times.
→ Dragon Tackle will consume less DP.
→ When inputting the command for the Dragon Tackle, holding the L button will charge the attack. Each level of charge will increase the DP consumption, attack power, speed, and range of the attack.
→ Dragon Guard will cost more DP to activate.
→ The range of Dragon Guard will decrease.
→ Berserk will drain more DP over time.
→ Attack power increase from Berserk will be reduced.
→ When receiving attacks in Berserk mode, an amount of DP will be recovered.

The Warrior can now activate Dragon Tackle and Dragon Smash while guarding enemy attacks with Dragon Guard even outside of Berserk.
The Warrior's grounded physical attacks and tackle now do slightly more damage, and airborne attacks do slightly less damage.
The Shinobi can now enter a Wind contract with the following effects:
→ Dragon Skills will have the Wind attribute.
→ Dragon Dash will consume less DP.
→ Dragon Dash's range will be reduced.
→ Attack power and DP consumption on Dragon Kick and homing shuriken will be reduced.
→ When locked onto an enemy, Dragon Kick can be activated outside of a combo.
→ Dragon Kick will unleash homing projectiles.
→ Number of homing shuriken thrown at once will be increased to 8.
→ Up to 4 Dragon Dashes can be performed consecutively.
※Properties displayed compared to the default Poison contract.
DP restored from the Shinobi's lock-on attacks mid-combo have been reduced, and DP restored from the lock-on combo finisher have been increased.
DP consumed by the Fire Shinobi's Dragon Sash have been reduced.
The Witch can now enter a Thunder contract with the following effects:
→ Chanting power up with a Thunder spell stored will increase its power by 2 steps.
→ During Dragon Surge, Thunder magic will consume less DP.
→ Storage time for Thunder magic will be increased.
→ Storage time for non-Thunder magic will be reduced.
→ DP will be restored at a higher rate when attacking enemies with Thunder magic.
→ Attacks with the Witch's familiar will be Thunder element. 
→ Familiar attacks will have a reduced number of hits and a longer interval between attacks.
→ Familiar attacks will have a longer range and increased speed.
→ Familiar attacks will do increased damage and have additional power during Dragon Surge.

The appearance of the Witch's familiar will now change based on the current dragon contract.
During Dragon Surge, the Witch's familiar will now increase in size and attack damage.
The color of the storage icon for the Witch's Heal, Shine and Levitation spells has been changed to pink, yellow, and blue respectively.

【Equipment Changes】

Level 61-70 weapons and accessories have been added to support the new level cap.
Level 56-70 weapons and accessories have been made available in the black market.
Items for sale in shops have been adjusted:

【Enemy Changes】

Status resistance on all existing enemies has been lowered.
Encounter rate on existing Named Monsters has been increased.
The boss "Lycanthrope" will now change targets more easily.
The boss "Lycanthrope" will now change targets while recovering from its claw attack.
The time before the boss "Lycanthrope" begins to move after appearing has been adjusted.
Attack power, INT, LUC, and status resistance of the boss "Lycanthrope" have been lowered.
The boss "Lycanthrope" will now use its claw combo attack less frequently.
Attack power, LUC, and status resistance of the boss "Bandit" have been lowered.
Single "Watcher" enemies will now display an HP bar and aggro line.
Behavior of the enemy "Cloudfish" has been adjusted.
Timing for when the enemy "Mimic" changes targets has been adjusted.
All forms of the boss on the quest "Dragon Marked for Death" have had frostbite resistance lowered.
The spirit form of the boss on the quest "Dragon Marked for Death" will now disappear without launching a fireball when stunned by a Dragon Tackle.
All forms of the boss on the quest "Dragon Marked for Death" have had attack and target AI adjusted to benefit players.

【Quest Changes】

A new quest, "Cavern of Torment", has been added.
→ If "Dragon Marked for Death" has been cleared by any playable character, this quest will be available from the NPC "Dora" in the city slums.
Level 80 difficulty has been added for the quest "The Dragon's Hoard".
The curtain switch on the quest "Werewolf Hunting" now has less defense and will restore DP when attacked.
Spirits on the quest "Haunting Grounds" have been made translucent.
For a better play experience, the following quests have had enemy placement adjusted and item pots added:
→ Werewolf Hunting, The Bell Tolls, Haunting Grounds, Paying the Miser, Eastern Treasures, Invisible Anger, Dragons' Struggle, Infernal Labyrinth, Resurging Flames, Hidden Hell
An obstacle in the Lansa Channel area has been removed.

【Bug Fixes】

An issue where the level 55 difficulty for the quest "Calamity's Portent" was not selectable has been fixed.
An issue where some text was not displayed properly in Traditional Chinese and Korean was fixed.
An issue where the Warrior would execute a normal tackle when inputting a Dragon Tackle after landing has been fixed.
An issue where the Dragon Sphere would enter stage geometry has been fixed.
An issue where enemy attacks could improperly inflict status effects has been fixed.
An issue where treasure chests would not properly appear has been fixed.
An issue where the boss "Bandit" could attack from offscreen has been fixed.
An issue where the boss "Bandit" would have the effect of Dragon Fruit without eating one has been fixed.
An issue where the boss "Bandit", when escaping while under the effect of frostbite, would move slowly despite canceling the effect has been fixed.
An issue where the player would take collision damage when trapped by the boss "Lycanthrope" has been fixed.
An issue where the enemy "Gold Beetle" was not set to the correct species has been fixed.
An issue where the direction the enemy "Lampic" would be initially facing was incorrect has been fixed.
An issue where background effects on the quest "Hidden Hell" were not displayed properly has been fixed.
An issue where the HP gauge for the curtain switch on the quest "Werewolf Hunting" would remain on-screen has been fixed.
An issue where an outside background would be momentarily displayed indoors has been fixed.
An issue where the Dragon Sphere in the fight with Vasith on the quest "Werewolf Hunting" would move in an incorrect pattern has been fixed.
An issue where the boss line in the quests "Tomb Rescue" and "The Sleeping Tome" could be jumped over has been fixed.
An issue where the Lycanthrope in the quest "The Bell Tolls" would not be properly defeated has been fixed.
An issue in displaying the Bandit's name on the quest "Paying the Miser" has been fixed.
An issue where the enemy "Do-dune" would have an attack remain on-screen on the quest "Resurging Flames" has been fixed.
An issue where an ogre on the quest "Soul Vessel" would respawn after being defeated has been fixed.
An issue where taking warps placed in levels in multiplayer would cause future warps to move the player to an incorrect position has been fixed.
An issue where obstacles in the area for "Infernal Labyrinth" intended to be activated by 2 or more players could be activated by a single player has been fixed.
An issue where lava in the "Infernal Labyrinth" area would not properly damage players has been fixed.

In addition, a number of smaller issues have been fixed.
