Dear Reader:
Inazuma Eleven Ares' 'Confrontation' Mode detailed
The third blog post for Inazuma Eleven Ares has gone live on the official Level-5 blog. This update contains new info on “confrontation mode,” which you can find below.
- the team have reached the point where they can actually incorporate the new system in the game
- you get to choose the course based on the current situation
- Lob Pass: you send the ball over the other players, where you think a teammate will be able to get it.
- Wall Pass: you send the ball to a teammate on your right and left, before moving through the other team’s defenses, and then getting the ball back from them
- Dribble: you dribble and pass the other team’s defenses without passing the ball to anyone
- if you can use a Hissatsu Technique, you can always use it to break through the defenses
- it's a bit more complex than your usual battle commands from RPGs, but arrows on-screen and other visual cues help guide
- one screen allows you to quickly check out the GP and TP of each player in a handy list
