Detective Pikachu co-writer reveals a scene cut from the film

Not all ideas can make the cut

Not every plan and idea can come to fruition in a film, and Detective Pikachu is no different. In an interview with Comicbook.com, Detective Pikachu co-writer Dan Hernandez revealed a scene that they unfortunately had to leave on the cutting-room floor.

"There was a sequence at one point that I was very excited about that was going to be in a Pokemon natural history museum. It seemed like this city would have a museum of some kind. There were a lot of different Pokemon represented in that sequence as well."
