GN Version 5.0

Well this is a bit disappointing. Tencent has apparently given up plans to try and grow the Arena of Valor audience in the West. This would include mobile and console versions, like the one on Switch. Tencent has reportedly disbanded the game's marketing team in the US and Europe and is reconsidering its strategy for overseas territories.

As of right now, the game has 100,000 daily active users in Europe and 150,000 in North America. We don't know what the split is for mobile versus Switch players, but the numbers were low enough for Tencent to lose faith altogether. According to one of Reuters' sources, Tencent is letting the game live or die on its own course.
