GN Version 5.0

Dataminers continue to snoop around Nintendo's servers for information on the latest games and updates, and it appears they've hit gold with Smash Bros. Ultimate. The latest bit of information pulled indicates that the upcoming 3.10 update for Smash Bros. Ultimate will include Nintendo Labo VR support, as well as new amiibo functionality.

VR mode is now available! A whole new perspective on the Smash action awaits! You can play VR mode using the Toy-Con VR Goggles (sold separately).

Now you can send your amiibo off on journeys to train via the Games & More > amiibo menu! Send your battle-hardened FPs out into the wide world to spar with other FPs! amiibo you've sent on a journey will relentlessly pursue their training until they come home! FPs can now join Battle Arenas. Show everyone the power of a trained amiibo!

As usual, nothing is confirmed until Nintendo actually reveals it, but this is certainly on the more plausible side of things. It looks like we'll find out for sure on Friday, as that's when the update is slated to hit.
