CD Projekt Red shares a bit more info on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition's resolution

The other day, we shared word from the official Witcher 3 Twitter account about the resolution for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition on Switch. They stated that the docked version runs at 720p and handheld is 540p. We heard that the game used dynamic resolution, but we didn't get specifics on where it's implemented. CD Projekt Red has since provided an update to Kotaku on the matter.
The team wanted to say that in handheld mode, the resolution is capped at 540p, or 960x540 pixels. Furthemore, 540p is the “max resolution,” so during gameplay, it's possible that the resolution drops further.
