Numerous Nintendo devs get promotions
Moving on up
Some of Nintendo's most well-known developers are climbing the corporate ranks, it appears. Nintendo has detailed the following changes in position for some higher-ups.
- Eiji Aonuma, producer of The Legend of Zelda series, has been promoted to Deputy General Manager
- Hisashi Nogami, responsible for the Splatoon and Animal Crossing franchises, has been promoted to Deputy General Manager
- Aya Kyogoku, known for work on the Animal Crossing series, has been promoted to Manager of EPD Production Group No. 5
- Yoshiko Ikebata is now with EPD Production Group No. 6, which manages Luigi’s Mansion and Metroid Prime games
