Bandai Namco announces Tales of Graces Anniversary Party

10 years already!?

Bandai Namco is putting together a “Tales of Graces Anniversary Party” event at the Maihama Amphitheater on November 24th, 2019 to celebrate the game’s 10th anniversary. There will be both an afternoon and night performance, but we don't know exactly what the event will offer up in celebration. The original Tales of Graces launched for Wii in Dec. 2009.

Lets hope if there is a switch collector's edition its better than their last offering. Getting a steelbook bluray case instead of a steelbook switch case was kinda lame.

Yeah no kidding. I probably won't be buying from the Namco store anymore after that.

GIVE ME A SWITH PORT!!!

Please. The combat in this game may be the best one in the franchise and it really make one strategise in multiplayer.

I know it might also be the worst told story in the franchise, and some music is pretty dull. Still until I get my combat fix, I cannot wait for a rerelease of this game.

For real yo.

Characters: Absolute garbage. Asbel is denser than a black hole. Amusing, but terrible. Richard and Malik tormenting everyone for being anime cliches is the best/only good part.
Story: Dumb as hell. Like really dumb. And it ends even dumber. f arc subplot was better than everything.
Gameplay: OH MY GOD.
OH. MY GOD.

THAT GAMEPLAY.
I'M DODGING, I'M PARRYING, I'M COUNTERING WITH SICK DRAWSWORD MOVES
EVERYONE FIGHTS DIFFERENTLY
YOU CAN CLONE PARTY MEMBERS SO IF YOU AND A FRIEND BOTH WANNA BE DRAWSWORD SAMURAI YOU CAN
EVERYONE HAS A WILD ACCEL MODE THAT GIVES ACCESS TO A NEW MYSTIC ARTE
CHERIA PULLS A DIO
MALIK SPEAKS WITH HIS BACK
SERIOUSLY
MALIK BEAM.

God if I didn't have to dig out the PS3 and be tethered to a TV again I would play it for like the eighth time. A switch port would be insta-buy for me. I think next playthrough I'll use the Richard title for Asbel since he never leaves party and go through with him.

Yeah, totally agreeing with you. This is one of the only RPGs were the gameplay makes me tolerate a really awfully told story, because battles are actually engaging here.

Totally agree with you. The story was subpar but my god that gameplay kept making me come back for more. Your skills are truly tested when you reach play that super hard dungeon with enemies that can kick your ass good.

Graces had the best gameplay in the series so I wish they will port it to Switch

I hope this leads to a remaster being presented.
Would so much love to play this on current consoles.
I love Tales of Graces.
