Philippe Lavoué, director of Nintendo France, is very happy about where the Switch is right now. In an interview with Le Figaro, Lavoué talks about the Switch's success so far, and what the plan is moving forward. Check out a breakdown of the interview below.

- sales growth for Switch has been in the double-digit range since the start of 2019
- the goal is to hit 3 million sold LTD in France by Christmas 2019
- Switch is on-track to sell another million units in France alone for 2019
- Switch has the best attach rate for a Nintendo platform ever in France
- Nintendo has high hopes for Zelda: Link's Awakening in France
- Smash Bros. Ultimate sales have been very good, but there's still room to improve, and more marketing is coming
- the female audience on Switch is bigger than on PS4/XB1
