Square-Enix will consider Secret of Mana's recent remake for Switch release, might do more Mana collections

Square-Enix is really gung-ho about the upcoming Trials of Mana title, and it seems like they believe the game can really find a spot in the market. Obviously that title doing well could pave the way for some other related experiecnes as well. In a Nintendo Life interview, the Square-Enix team had some interesting comments about the potential for other collections/ports for the series.

On bringing the Secret of Mana port to Switch

Thank you so much for that feedback. However, right now, since the development timing is a little bit off, we like to see if there’s a good time for that and definitely consider that.

On other Mana collections for Switch

Right now, we don’t have any plans set just yet. However, if we get a lot of feedback from the fans saying that they want this – and perhaps if the timing is right – we’d definitely like to consider it.
