Junichi Masuda's message to Pokemon fans about Pokemon Sword & Shield was not shared on official Pokemon channels in Japan

An odd decision

The other day, Pokemon.com here in the states updated with a special message from Game Freak's Junichi Masuda concerning the Pokedex in Pokemon Sword & Shield. Masuda stated that the decision not to include all Pokemon in the game was a difficulty, but necessary one. While the message may not have made fans happy, it was still nice to see an official statement shared in the wake of all the negative fan responses.

Here's where things get strange. Over in Japan, there has not been a single mention of the message from any official Pokemon outlet. The Pokemon website, YouTube channel, Twitter account, and other official accounts for Pokemon Co. didn't post Masuda's message at all. It was Masuda himself who shared the message via his personal Twitter account.

With all the backlash over the situation, it seems so odd that the Japanese side of the Pokemon Co. couldn't even be bothered to spread the message.
