The Wall Street Journal shared a report yesterday, concerning Sony's push for the PS5, and efforts to woo big-name publishers over mid-to-small devs, which left a lot of devs feeling snubbed. On the other side of the spectrum, those same devs feel very welcomed by Nintendo, which has certainly worked to bring deluge of content to Switch.

That same report also included a bit on Sony's competition with the PS5. Not surprisingly, the report states that Sony sees Microsoft as their main competition in next-gen. When it comes to Nintendo, Sony reported doesn't see Nintendo as a major rival, as their target audience is usually older than the audience that Nintendo goes after.

If there's one thing game industry history shows us, it's that you should never, ever underestimate Nintendo. It has stung Sony in the past, but will it happen gain?
