Man attempts to sing like Cadence of Hyrule's shopkeeper, and the results are both hysterical and impressive

This is why I love the internet

GN Version 5.0

For those who don't know, Cadence of Hyrule, just like Crypt of the Necrodancer, has an amazing shopkeeper who sings along with the background music. As you get closer to his shop, you can hear him belting out a tune, and he goes full-blast once you're actually in his shop. The first time you hear the pseudo-realistic voice, it'll make you crack up. Every time after that, it pretty much only gets better!

As we said, the voice isn't actually a real person, but some sort of strange note-twisting handled by a computer. What would happen if someone actually tried to sing like the shopkeep? Well look no further than Nicolas Daoust, as he's decided to take on the challenge.

The first time I heard Nicolas' singing, I cried from laughing. Just attempting to mimic the shopkeeper's unique voice is funny in and of itself, but the intensity Nicolas puts into trying to recreate the sound just makes it so much better. I can't wait to hear him attempt all the other tunes in the game!
