Space Invaders: Invincible Collection launching in Japan on March 26th, 2020, details on standard and special editions

Taito has announced that the Space Invaders: Invincible Collection will launch for Switch in Japan on March 26th, 2020. The standard edition will cost 5,200 yen, and the special edition is priced at 16,800 yen. The following games are found in both the standard and special edition.

- Space Invaders (1978, Arcade) – Black-and-White Version
- Space Invaders (1978, Arcade) – Color Version
- Space Invaders Part II (1979, Arcade)
- Super Space Invaders ’91 (also known as MJ-12 / Majestic Twelve) (1990, Arcade)
- Space Invaders Extreme (2018, PC)
- Additional titles to be announced in the future

The next wave of titles are part of the Special Edition exclusively.

- Space Invaders DX (1994, Arcade)
- Space Cyclone (1980, Arcade)
- Lunar Rescue (1979, Arcade)
- Additional titles to be announced in the future

Amazon Japan is going to sell Amazon Prime Day 2019-exclusive versions of the standard and special editions on July 15th and 16th, 2019. These will include the exclusive Space Invaders 90 as DLC.

Finally, the bonus goodies packed with the special edition includes a Space Invaders-themed board game, an official art book, a Taito-branded pouch, and five instruction cards.
