RUMOR - Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order showing very strong sales at launch

Let's hope so!

Well here's a bit of encouraging info, albeit unconfirmed at the moment. BenjiSales on Twitter, who appears to have connections to those tracking sales data, has some supposed information on how well Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is doing. Again, we cannot confirm this information just yet, but we'll certainly try to get another source to back this up. Until then, take the following tidbits with a grain of salt.

- the game's first 48 hours of sales are tracking significantly ahead of expectations in U.S.
- could be the 3rd biggest Switch launch of 2019 so far
- tracking significantly ahead of other big launches on Switch, such as Mortal Kombat 11 and Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled

I'm a thirty something man with thirty something friends and I had 7 people over here yesterday who had all purchased this game and we played for 11 hours

Marvel's really big at the moment, so I'm not really surprised at all.

Me and the Cap'n can make it happen.

I bet that Amazon deal helped. I wasn’t planning on picking it up right away but caved. 😬

I legitimately like your use of numbers in telling your story.

And with out a TV commercial even!

Nintendo of America, why aren't you marketing this?

Im glad. I hope this can lead to future Nintendo x Marvel collabs. Im really enjoying Ultimate Alliance 3 so far. Its the most fun I've had on my Switch this year so far even if the game isnt flawless and has room for improvement.

So, you thought Avengers by Square Enix was a good idea

Game isn’t even out yet. Too early to call it a bad idea.

This is great news! I hope this entices other 3rd-parties to put out more Switch exclusives.

Yes! I have zero interest in most 3rd party games on Switch considering I can get much better versions for PS4.

Good to know... I'm planning on waiting to get the game myself; wanna have all the DLC when I play through (still hopes for Squirrel Girl).

At least there's one "Order" that's winning.

My friend list is swarmed with Marvel right now. Folks that don’t really play their Switch as religiously as me and picked it up. That’s a big deal having an exclusive that isn’t in Ninty’s comfort zone, and succeed.

What a great weekend to be a Marvel fan. The first half of the MCUs phase four got announced with Taika Waititi returning to direct Thor 4. MUA3 released and selling above expectations, and Endgame toppled Avatar to become the world's highest grossing film of all time.

The timing for me was no good. Between Mario Maker 2, dragon quest builders 2, and now fire emblem I have no time for marvel ultimate alliance
