Luffy statue in Japan turned into a PokeStop for Pokemon GO (UPDATE)
Time to head to Japan!
Here's an interesting tidbit for Pokemon GO players and One Piece fans. The current 'Straw Hat' event going on in Pokemon GO is tied to One Piece, but the series' creator has taken things a step further in Japan.
Those who visit the real-life Luffy statue in Japan will see that it's been turned into a PokeStop! It comes complete with special in-game artwork, which is an original piece by One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda. Now that's a neat tribute!
UPDATE - Apparently all of the One Piece statues in the above area have gotten special artwork from Oda as well!
