Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Memories is coming to the Switch in North America and Europe, courtesy of NIS America. In a Siliconera interview, director Kazuma Kuj is asked about how the game has changed since it was originally announced all the way back in 2019.

“I re-examined the visuals and how the story unfolds. Things that seemed like they would be a hindrance to progression in real time were removed. Otherwise, there was no major changes.”

The Japanese version of the game includes anime collaboration costumes and two-part post-story DLC. What are the chances of that content coming to NA/EU?

“I leave decisions on the Western release to NIS America. If there is enough support, we will do our best to fulfill players’ wishes.”
