Newly rated Genesis VC games show big promise for the world

Here’s what could possibly be some very big news for the entire world of Wii owners. The OFLC has rated three new Genesis games for the VC. Streets of Rage 3, Super Thunder Blade, and Golden Axe III are all slated to hit the Wii. The big deal comes with Golden Axe III. Originally, that game was only released throughout Asia. It was included in future compilation releases, but the original didn’t travel as much. With this new rating, do we have a confirmation that all territories will start to see VC games that never made it to their respective regions, besides just TG16 titles? On the other hand, maybe we are getting Golden Axe III simply because we have the ability to download I and II. Let’s hope the answer is the first explanation!
