Fire Emblem: Three Houses debuts at #1 in the UK, almost doubles Awakening, more than doubles the first two Fates titles
Three Houses, First Place
Fire Emblem: Three Houses has been met with major success in the UK. Christopher Dring of GamesIndustry has shared some stats on how the game debuted, and Nintendo has a lot to be happy about. Not only did the game debut at #1, it also almost doubled the launch sales of Fire Emblem Awakening, and more than doubled the combined sales of the first two Fire Emblem Fates games. This put Fire Emblem: Three Houses comfortably into the #1 spot, as it doubled the boxed sales of Wolfenstein: Youngblood, which came in at #2.
It's equally impressive to point out that Fire Emblem: Three Houses is the first Switch exclusive without Mario/Mario characters to make it to the #1 position in the UK.
