RUMOR - Dataminer finds sound files within Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 that could point to future playable characters

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order already has a massive cast of playable characters, and even more are coming as DLC. Beyond that, should we expect even more Marvel favorites to join the playable ranks? While nothing is confirmed just yet, a dataminer has discovered some interesting details hidden in the game's data.

Dataminer Walruslui has discovered that almost every major NPC in the game has a full set of voice clips that pertain to playable characters. We're talking about sound bites that you hear other playable characters spout when taking on enemies, as well as various canned emotes. These sound bites don't pop up anywhere during natural play, which begs the question as to why they were included.

The only NPCs in the game that don't have these sound bites are Black Bolt, Medusa, Valkyrie and Cosmo. Everyone else, including characters like Vision, Ant-Man, Nova, Jessica Jones, Mysterio, M.O.D.O.K., and others have these clips. This either means that these characters could be playable at some point down the road, or they were under consideration as playable characters during development, but were scrapped later on.
