40-year-old Kenichi Hiratsuka was arrested for allegedly sending death threats to Square Enix. Among his threats was the mention of a “repeat of Kyoto Animation,” which is in reference to the tragic incident last month where 35 people lost their lives. When Hiratsuka was asked why he sent the threats, he stated that he “was pissed off at losing in a game.”
