Pokemon World Championships 2019 finalist's trophy breaks instantly
Second place gets the shaft
TCG Junior Finalist Isaac Terceira managed to take second place for his division, which was good enough to warrant a trophy. When he took the stage to grab his award, it ended up breaking just a send after it was passed off. This was no fault of Isaac's, and hopefully the Pokemon Co. will get this all fixed up in the near future.
UPDATE - Good news! Isaac's father revealed that he was given a new trophy before he even left the arena. All's well that ends well!
