WayForward "wouldn't object" to Double Dragon Neon coming to the Switch

All the way back in 2012, WayForward worked on a reboot of the classic Double Dragon franchise. The game, entitled Double Dragon Neon, retained the classic beat'em-up feel of the originals, while adding in some new special moves, updated graphics, a heavy-helping of humor, and a kick-ass soundtrack.

Did you miss the game back when it first launched? Wouldn't you like a chance to give it a go now? Plenty of people would, and one fan reached out to WayForward to see if a Switch release would be possible. While that decision isn't up to WayForward, they'd clearly like to see it happen. You can read WayForward's response below.

It would be up to the publisher & IP holders on Double Dragon Neon, but we wouldn't object!

I seriously listen to the Double Dragon Neon soundtrack at least once a month. It's a great soundtrack, full of awesome new songs and fantastic remixes. That's reason enough to bring the game to Switch. I really hope this happens!
