It'll be interesting to sell how well DAEMON X MACHINA sells and into the longterm as bigger games will dropping from here on out through to Christmas. The reviews thus far haven't been great for it.

The reception so far isn't that much different from what most Armored Core games receive and those have a pretty dedicated fanbase, so I'm sure it'll do well among Armored Core fans who really want something similar (as FromSoft haven't put out a new one in over half a decade due to being more busy with Miyazaki's action RPG projects). But for people who weren't into mech combat games before I doubt this will change their minds.

And yeah I am super curious how well it'll do, sandwiching it between Astral Chain and Link's Awakening always felt like a bad move IMO.
