Regardless of what some people think of Yooka-Laylee, a new Banjo game would be hard to do. And frankly people didn't appreciate how good Nuts and Bolts was and just got angry that it wasn't another collectathon platformer.

Agreed, I think a remake of the original two would be a smarter move. If they did a new game it would have to update the 3D platformer formula, like Mario Odyssey.

Yeah. I mean they weren't a remake but I played them on that Rare Replay collection. Don't want to start a controversy but that first Banjo-Kazooie I think is still on par with Mario 64.
