Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris devs would like to bring the game to Switch, but they're facing memory issues

Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris is not making its way to Switch as of right now, but that might change in the future. Producer Yosuke Futami took to the stage at TGS 2019 to talk about the game, and when questions about a Switch version came up, he reconfirmed that the team would love to support Switch. The problem with the game is that the maps are much bigger and the characters have a much higher polygon count, which is leading to memory issues on Switch.

If Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris were to come over, a lot of tweaking would need to be done. Futami went on to say that they do care about the Switch audience who wants to play this game, but there's been no official decision on a port at this time.
