WaterField Unveils Sophisticated Switch Lite Cases Designed With Customer Input

San-Francisco designer and manufacturer, WaterField Designs, creatively engaged its customers to help design a unique line of Nintendo Switch Lite Cases: the compact and convenient new Switch Lite Slip Case for taking the Switch Lite on the go, and custom-sizes of the company’s popular CitySlicker and Pouch for the Nintendo Switch. Enveloped in locally-made Luna® water-resistant textiles and cradled by ultra-plush padding, the new Switch Lite Slip Case protects the console, games, and cords, and secures shut with a quiet, case-length, magnetic closure.

“I love working with our enthusiastic gaming customers to create cases that specifically address their requests,” said Gary Waterfield, company founder. “Most of them have the Switch and plan to get a Switch Lite, expecting to leave the Switch at home and take the Lite out and about. They asked for a professional-looking case that was compact and portable like our new Switch Lite Slip Case and requested our popular CitySlicker and Pouch resized for the Switch Lite.”

The sophisticated CitySlicker for the Nintendo Switch Lite is a padded Switch Lite case constructed of black ballistic nylon with a double-layered, full-grain leather flap that cushions the console with protective interior padding. An Ultrasuede®-lined pocket safeguards the screen, helps keep it clean, and holds thin items like the USB-C charging cable. Five leather slots stow game cards or microSDs, and a self-locking zipper secures an expandable rear mesh pocket.

The Pouch for the Switch Lite provides handsome, no-nonsense protection for the console and a few accessories. Black ballistic nylon or waxed canvas, a plush interior lining, and a self-locking-zippered font pocket keep contents organized and secure.

Since its inception in 1998, WaterField Designs has incorporated customer feedback into the design of its bags and cases. For its first Switch Cases, WaterField engaged customers with great success using surveys, regular design updates, and feedback cycles. The company followed this community design process to create these professional and modern cases for the Switch Lite.
