Nintendo the fourth most-seen gaming industry brand on TV for Aug. 16th to Sept. 15th, 2019

Cooling off at the end of Summer

Nintendo has cooled off with TV advertising in recent weeks, which is a tad surprising considering the launch of the Switch Lite and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Perhaps they have plans for more advertising now that those products are actually out, and weren't looking to spread the word too much prior to launch.

For Aug. 16th to Sept. 15th, 2019, Nintendo came in fourth place overall for ad impressions on TV here in the states. They aired 9 spots 446 times, resulting in 94.1 million impressions. “Disney Channel: Summer Fun” was Nintendo's most-seen commercial with 43.5 million impressions. Three of the networks with high impression-counts included Disney Channel, Nick, and Cartoon Network, while some of the top shows were SpongeBob SquarePants, The Loud House, and Bunk’d.
