Assassin's Creed: The Rebel Collection's Euro retail release mentions the game card only includes half of the content

Same as it ever was

According to Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection includes Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag with all single-player DLC, and Assassin’s Creed Rogue. When it comes to the physical version of the game, that unfortunately means you'll still have to download some content.

The European cover for the retail release states that the package includes Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag on the game card, but you'll need to download Assassin’s Creed Rogue. It's definitely disappointing to learn, but not surprising at all.

Hopefully it is as an update like LA Noire and not a download code like they do for the Resident Evil games. Destroys its resale value.

Rogue's the bonus game, which makes sense that they'd pick that to be the download. I also do agree that it would be better if it's a download instead of a code, but I think since the eShop lists this as one SKU it's going to be a download which is A-OK with me.

Can I just get Assasins Creed Rogue on the E-Shop? I already played 4 on the WiiU, don't have any desire of playing it again

The entire thing is listed as something like 11GB on the eShop. If Ubisoft cheapened out and went with an 8GB cart... well, that wouldn't surprise med at all.

Oh FFS, Ubisoft you disgusting, petty cheapskates.

This BETTER be an optional download and not mandatory or else no sale.
