Killer Queen Black took quite a bit of time to come to Switch. What caused the hold-up? Turns out bringing the experience to Switch took a lot more work than just a quick port session. In an interview with GamesBeat, Liquid Bit production boss Matt Tesch explains all the changes and tweaks that had to be made.

“It became quickly apparent that we needed to increase the sizes of the player characters, which in turn led to a decrease in the size of the map layouts, and finally a reduction in player count. None of that was in the original design and only came about through testing of various prototypes.”
