A new RAD update appears to be available
There's a bit of an odd situation going on with RAD. According to Bandai Namco's site, the game has been updated on all platforms but Switch. The thing is, Switch owners are reporting an update as well. That update brings the game up to Version 1.0.3, and some of the details mentioned in the PS4/XB1 are indeed now present on Switch. We can't confirm all the features below have made it to Switch, but again, there are some elements that have been confirmed by users. Check out the full patch notes for other platforms below.
Fix for issue that would allow a "lockdown" room to be triggered when the player isn't in it
Assist Features moved to Options screen for better visibility (used to be in Gameplay Options)
Altars can be used multiple times now. Each time they are used the chance of an offering being rejected increases. The eyes turn red when it will reject all offerings
7 New Quirks added!
Key Master: Increases the number of floppy disks that spawn
Meat Lovers: More meat spawns. Similar to Shark Style but without the speed boost and no damage is done when the player stops moving
Yeet Lovers: Increases the chances of getting ranged mutations
My Buddy: Increases the chances of "buddy" mutations (Death Roe, Teeny Bopper, Suck Face, Home Slice) and "buddy" items (Polyp Pal, Laser Pal)
Cheapskate: Lowers prices in all shops
Unstable: Taking damage will result in one of your exo mutations randomly changing
Devolution: The player starts with a full assortment of mutations. Over time, mutations are randomly taken away until the player is left with just their bat. New internal mutations can be gained but no new external mutation can be gained
New items and consumables - new mutation-based items can appear in the world. Discover them and figure out what they do!
New weather patterns and world tiles added to the variation of the fallow!
Fixed an issue with the secret mutation that caused it to lose its upgrade when loading a new level
