Pikachu voice actor named a 'Cool Japan ambassador'

- the Japanese voice actress for Ash, Rica Matsumoto, has been honored by the Japanese government
- she has been named a "Cool Japan ambassador"
- Cool Japan is an initiative by the Japanese government to help convey the charm of Japan to those overseas
- Matsumoto will be able to attend cabinet level meetings to determine the direction of the Cool Japan program
