Here in the states, Nintendo will replace a Joy-Con experiencing drift issues with no questions asked, or no extra compensation needed. In the rest of the world, that's not the case. That's left some fans in other regions quite upset, including those in France. They want the same treatment that's available in the states, and one consumer group is out to make that happen.

UFC Que Choisir, a French consumer group that defends the rights of consumers in litigation against corporations, and pushes for public policies reinforcing the rights of consumers, has officially reached out to Nintendo about the matter. They're looking to represent those in France who are dealing with Joy-Con drift, and want to get them the same coverage that people get here in the United States. Nintendo is yet to respond to the matter, but while UFC Que Choisir waits for Nintendo's statement, they're looking to hear from even more consumers on France who are dealing with the issue. The more people they can get claims from, the stronger their efforts will be.

Will Nintendo respond to the issue? Will they start offering the same deal that consumers here in the states have? We can only hope that happens, but we'll certainly bring you updates on the situation if Nintendo responds.

Thanks to Xavier for the heads up!
