Movies based on iconic characters always come with their fair share of licensed merchandise. Sega and Paramount aren't missing out on earning some retail product revenue, since everyone seems to love Sonic's adorable redesign in the Sonic the Hedgehog movie. Figures, plush toys, books, apparel, playsets, and more are planned with a large variety of company partnerships. I'm glad I never have to witness what a Build-A-Bear of the original Sonic movie design would look like...
