Splatoon 2 being updated to Version 5.1.0 on Jan. 5th, 2020, another update set for April 2020
The tweaks aren't done yet
While Nintendo might be done producing content for Splatoon 2, they still have some tweaks to make to gameplay over. Nintendo has confirmed that an update is coming on Jan. 6th, 2020 that will bump the game up to Version 5.1.0. Thi update will include a number of changes to weapon performance, and will also take care of some bugs. This will be followed by another update in April 2020.
