GN Version 5.0

Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa is quite a busy guy. He's overseeing the day-to-day operations of Nintendo in multiple regions, and has to keep the well-oiled machine running without issue. There's no doubt Furukawa is very in-tune with the business side of Nintendo, but when it comes to the software created, Furukawa makes sure to stay far away.

In an interview with Nikkei, Furukawa mentions that he lets Nintendo's software devs do their own thing without interfering. He doesn't want the developers to feel restricted in their work, and leaves comments on software development to the professionals who work closely with the software creators. Furukawa is completely open about knowing his place in the business, and recognizes that he's not the one to be giving directions in software creation.
