Nintendo grabs trademarks for Pikmin, Animal Crossing, Splatoon, and The Legend of Zelda
Seems like mostly merch
Nintendo is doing a bit of upkeep with their trademark registrations. The company has filed a round of trademarks in Japan for numerous franchises Nintendo fans will be quite familiar with. New trademarks for Pikmin (200 purposes related to merchandise), Animal Crossing, Splatoon, and The Legend of Zelda have all cropped up. In the case of the last three franchises, it seems the trademarks apply to merch you'd find at Nintendo TOKYO.
