New details shared on Super Nintendo World, "Power Up Bands" for park interactivity revealed, plus new info
Universal Studios promised new details on Super Nintendo World in the near future, and those details have come in. We have a slew of new info to sift through, courtesy of Kurumi Mori. Check out the summary below!
- Super Nintendo World will open at Universal Studios Japan this Summer, before the Summer Olympics
- the parks in Hollywood, Orlando and Singapore will follow
- "No Limit!" is the slogan for the parks
- USJ Marketing Director Ayumu Yamamoto says "If Disney is the dreamworld then USJ is the wake world where we will energize you and make you feel alive!"
- the parks will utilize wearable wristbands called 'Power Up Bands' to make you feel like you're part of the game world
- use the Power Up Band to collect digital coins and compete with other park-goers
- there will also be a Super Nintendo World smartphone app
