Switch sales up in Japan 29% year-over-year
A great year for Switch
We've had a few reports on hardware sales in Japan, all of which have shown just how well the Switch is doing. Now we have a bit more data to go over that puts things in perspective. Check out the rundown below.
- Switch and Switch Lite are the two most popular hardware options on the market
- combined they accounted for 76% of all hardware sales in Japan for 2019
- Switch sales were up 29% year-over-year
- Switch sold 3.45 million and Switch Lite sold 1.05 million
- PS4 sold 774,000, and PS4 Pro sold 422,000, down 29% combined year-over-year
