Nintendo patent aims to stop thieves from gaining access to electronic funds
Score one for the good guys
Nintendo continues their flood of patents, this time with something a bit more technical. The latest patent is for a Settlement System, which aims to prevent abuse when using an IC (Integrated Circuit) card charged with electronic funds. Nintendo wants to stop bad actors from getting ahold of these funds by setting the standby time of the portable information processing device to a shorter waiting time.
