Dear Reader:
Kowloon Youma Gakuen Ki: Origin of Adventure launches in Japan sometime during Spring 2020, new screesn and info shared
Kowloon Youma Gakuen Ki: Origin of Adventure was teased for Switch awhile back, and now we have confirmation that the game is definitely heading to the platform. It's set for release sometime in Spring 2020 in Japan, and is priced at 5,800 yen. A 15,800 yen limited edition will also be available, and it includes a figure of protagonist Koutarou Minakami, drama CD, and art book.
Kowloon Youma Gakuen Ki: Origin of Adventure is a remake of the school romance juvenile adventure RPG that hit the PlayStation 2 back in 2004. This remake includes most of the original voice actors, minus that of Tsukumi Nanase, who will now now be voiced by Yuki Masuda instead of Fuukou Minano.
Kowloon Youma Gakuen Ki: Origin of Adventure features adventure parts where you live a school life with your friends, role-playing parts where you explore expansive dungeons, and additional elements specifically for the Switch remake. The mini-games and “Rockford Adventure” features from the original have been retained as well.
