Jim Carrey interested in reprising his role as Dr. Robotnik for a Sonic film follow-up

Let's hope the first is a success

Sonic the Hedgehog may not be out in theaters yet, but Jim Carrey is already down to reprise his role as Dr. Robotnik. In the interview above, Carrey discusses how he'd be interested in returning to the role, and explains why.

“This part, I wouldn’t mind going to do other one, because it was so much fun, first of all. And you know, it was a real challenge to try to convince people that I have a triple digit IQ. There is so much room, Robotnik has not reached his apotheosis.”

Strange, didn't Jim Carrey always have a thing about never wanting to do sequels?

Didn't we have Ace Ventura 2 though?

Then maybe you should watch the video to explain this paradox?

He did Ace Ventura 2, a dumb and dumber sequel, and says he's open to making another Mask, so he must not be too against making sequels.

I never thought that Jim Carrey would be interested in a sequel because I heard once that he purposely acted stupid or ridiculous so he can get out of the film or something.

To be honest, he’s a cool actor but he can be overrated sometimes and I know a few films and one of them is not in theaters yet.

Just make sure that he gets his shots before he's allowed around humans.
