Here's some very interesting Switch sales data Daniel Ahmad, Senior Analyst at Niko Partners. He's crunched the numbers to compare the Switch to other platforms, and things are looking quite rosy indeed.

When you align the launches of various platforms, you get an idea of just how well the Switch is doing. Lining up the platforms, Switch is currently doing better than PS4 and PS2 at the same points in their lifespans. The Switch is also right in line with what the DS was doing. As of right now, the Switch is just slightly behind the Wii at the same point in its life.

It's important to note that the Switch launched outside of the holiday season, which makes a direct comparison a bit tough. It also makes the data above that much more impressive.
