Animal Crossing: New Horizons will support the Switch Online mobile app
But will you use it?
The Switch Online mobile app has been a bit of a dud. Players were suspicious of the app before it launched, and despite numerous pledges of major support from Nintendo, the app hasn't gotten much love. That said, Nintendo continues to throw in game support here and there, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be the next title to give the app a shot.
We already knew that Animal Crossing: New Horizons was going to allow online play, but now it seems some aspects of online interaction will be handled through the app. This most likely means chat, but there could always be more features to be revealed. With the game set to launch just over a month from today, hopefully we get those details soon.
